Cold Laser Therapy

After you are injured, the cells of that area are damaged and unable to function within normal parameters. Cold (Low Level) Laser Therapy is emerging  in the healing arts community as the new therapeutic modality. Cold Laser Therapy emits low level lasers at a specific wavelength that is optimal for treatment.  This wavelength can penetrate deeply into the tissue to aid in restoring normal cellular function.

Low Level Laser Therapy aids in the body’s natural defense by accelerating and enhancing the body’s natural ability to defend and repair itself after an injury. Low Level Laser Therapy provides pain relief by enhancing the cell repair and healing process, thus reducing the duration of inflammation. Cold Laser Therapy also reduces the amount of damage and increases function to an area after an injury has taken place. It allows the body to heal faster and naturally with stronger tissues. Not only will your tissues heal quicker and stronger, the laser also provides physiologic effects such as improved metabolism, circulation and tissue healing.
